Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks an HVAC Technician 2 in Calgary to deliver, install and service rented climate control equipment. You will train customers and operators on safe use, verify serial numbers and paperwork, and follow company safety policies.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of HVAC experience, a valid license, and an HVAC Certificate. The role offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and on-call weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 30 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Valid driver9s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC Certificate preferred; state-licensed refrigeration work.
• Class A gasfitter certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls with customers, managers and sales engineers.
• Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment; train operator on safe use of equipment.
• Directs customers to sign paperwork and keeps track of serial numbers.
• Troubleshoot and understand operation, function, specifications and controls of equipment.
• Operate company vehicle safely and follow safety policies.
• Test and service returned equipment; maintain records and paperwork.

Position Objective:

The HVAC Technician 2 demonstrates a level of professionalism through positive communication and appearance and provides an exemplary level of service to our customers. This role delivers portable HVAC equipment to the customer, demonstrating skills and performance in the use, operation and repair of all company equipment. Additionally, this role checks in and repairs equipment and performs general shop duties and delivers/installs CC equipment.

Base Pay Range

31.80 - 45.72

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
