Job description

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Port Coquitlam, BC, ideal for a motivated sales professional with a technical mindset. In this role, you’ll build lasting relationships, develop new business, and provide tailored HVAC and mechanical service solutions to commercial and residential clients. You’ll work closely with a supportive leadership team and gain access to tools, training, and a strong compensation package designed to help you succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new service agreements with commercial, multi-residential, and light industrial clients
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to assess HVAC/mechanical systems and develop maintenance recommendations
  • Prepare and present service proposals tailored to client needs and budgets
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of active leads and opportunities using internal CRM tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs
  • Balance in-office work with 2–3 days per week of field-based client visits

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably within HVAC, building services, or construction-related industries
  • Comfortable engaging with property managers, owners, and facilities teams
  • Technically inclined, with an interest in learning about mechanical systems and preventative maintenance
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and cold-calling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot is a plus
  • Ability to conduct physical site visits (e.g., walking properties, accessing rooftops)
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field is preferred
  • Must be self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
