Independent Grocers Alliance in Canada is seeking a Service Manager to lead a department and drive day-to-day operations, including purchasing, inventory, and pricing lists to meet sales goals.

Candidates should have 2 years of experience in retail or service, plus a high school diploma or college degree, management experience, and knowledge of point-of-sale systems.

• High school diploma or college degree with management experience and knowledge of point-of-sale systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage purchasing, inventory, PLU price lists and meet sales per hour/person to ensure business readiness.
• Develop and manage policies and procedures, adhere to hygiene and safety standards and ensure they are followed by department staff.
• Select, train, evaluate and motivate team members, ensuring competent personnel.
• Carry out cash register accounting tasks (money transfers, deposits, controls, weekly verifications, etc.).
