Position Description

As Plant Manager, you will lead the launch and ongoing operations of a high‑volume, service repair‑focused Hub. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing daily production, and building a high‑performing team aligned with TTI Canada’s core values. This role requires strong leadership, strategic coordination with corporate and cross‑functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will oversee repair operations, inventory and materials management, support new product development, and ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and with a focus on quality. Your leadership will be key in fostering an inclusive workplace and preparing the plant for future growth.

What You Will Do
  • Play a key role in launching the Service Hub, ensuring alignment with project timelines, deliverables, and strategic goals, while coordinating closely with corporate leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • On‑going management of repair, reconditioning and returns, driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement, while maintaining daily production targets.
  • Drive future growth initiatives, expanding plant capabilities and workforce.
  • Establish and maintain efficient, safe, and high‑quality repair operations in a high‑volume, low‑automation environment.
  • Align with leadership, engineering and Service Hubs in United States to ensure process consistency and share best practices.
  • Manage service parts inventory and production materials, ensuring seamless coordination with planning, logistics, and warehouse functions.
  • Support new product development initiatives and adjust plant operations to accommodate evolving technologies and service requirements.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaging workplace that attracts and retains top talent, championing TTI Canada’s cultural values across all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee training programs that support both job performance and career advancement.
  • Ensure the facility is safe, efficient, and visually appealing.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, including 5+ years in plant management.
  • Experience in service environments and new facility startups is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build high‑performing teams and instill a strong company culture.
  • Expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, inventory management, and project management.
  • Strong operational discipline, demonstrated through experience with 5S practices, Gemba Walks, KPI tracking, and cross‑training strategies that drive efficiency and team performance.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with distributed teams and sister plants.
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and year‑over‑year efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Frequent travel (up to 75%) during initial training and pre‑launch phase.
  • Occasional travel (10–15%) post‑launch, primarily domestic and short‑term, including visits to other facilities, customers, and suppliers.
