Job summary

Performance Hyundai, a top-rated Hyundai dealer in Canada, seeks a team-oriented Service Concierge to greet customers, drive vehicles, and support dealership operations. The role involves fast-paced tasks, customer interactions, and ensuring vehicle readiness with attention to safety and quality.

The position is part-time and on-call, with an hourly wage of $18.00. Benefits include employee events and vehicle/service discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have Daytime/evening and weekend availability as this position is on-call.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of automotive experience or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical repairs and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail will be required.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and keep the drive-thru clean.
• Drive customer vehicles as required.
• Perform service vehicle washes, maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles, and ensure vehicle quality standards are met.
• Assist with dealership operations, including completing supply and bank runs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot.
• Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.
• Utilize systems and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions.
• Analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
• Tag and park service vehicles while maintaining an organized parking lot.
• Execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Conduct free alignment inspections.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

Job Type: Part-time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
