We are seeking a safety-minded production leader with experience managing a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with some automation. This role is based in Boucherville, QC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and be accountable for the health and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring adherence to corporate and legislative requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement of safety performance aligned with Brambles’ Zero Harm initiative, while ensuring environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to oversee equipment reliability and operational continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
  • Drive best practices and continuous improvement to optimize plant performance in safety, quality, and cost.
  • Maintain site security and manage storage, stock levels, and movement of materials and equipment.
  • Lead and develop plant staff, fostering accountability and meeting performance expectations as outlined in job descriptions and agreements.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective plant operations management.
What You Will Do / Ce que vous ferez

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Direct site and regional efforts to achieve a zero-hault safety environment.
  • Manage short- and long-term strategies for service centers, ensuring cost initiatives are delivered, budgets are met, and capacity growth aligns with customer demand.
  • Adhere to conditioning plans, monitor stocks, and maximize plant capacity to meet demand.
  • Manage performance for all sites and drive efficiency.
  • Accountable for site budget and financial performance.
  • Drive LEAN culture and implement procedures to improve quality, service, and efficiency within the network.
  • Complete Quality, In Transit, and Operations Excellence audits within the team and regional 3PL network.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Mentor front-line leaders to create a strong succession plan.

What You Will Bring / Ce que vous apporterez

Experience / Expérience

  • 7–10 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience with proven management capacity.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management.
  • Practical experience in an FMCG environment is an asset.
  • Project management experience is essential.

Skills and Knowledge / Compétences et connaissances

  • Working knowledge of Canadian labour laws.
  • Continuous Improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, Safety & Quality Programs).
