The Jim Pattison Toyota Duncan is seeking an energetic, dependable Car Wash Attendant to support our Service department and keep vehicles showroom-ready.

This full-time role involves exterior washing, interior detailing, and careful vehicle handling, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. Work is based in Duncan, BC; drivers license required; wage is $19/hour with benefits; opportunities for growth within the Jim Pattison Auto Group.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required.
• Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
• Physically active role requiring walking, standing, bending, and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of customer vehicles, exterior wash and interior cleaning.
• Move and position guest vehicles with care.
• Report any vehicle or dealership safety concerns.
• Safely use cleaning tools and products.
• Protect confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Support a positive, collaborative work environment.

TheJim Pattison Toyota Duncan is seeking an energetic, dependable, and organizedCar Wash Attendant to be the pillar of support for our Toyotadealership. As a supporting role for our Service department, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our customers.

You’ll take pride in delivering an excellent experience, being detail oriented, and ensuring every interaction reflects our strong commitment to our customers. This is a great role to start your career in the automotive industry, with limitless opportunities for growth and progression.

Schedule

This is a full-time, permanentrole of 40hours per week.

Pay Range

$19 per hour

This role reports to the Service Manager of the dealership.

A Day in the Life

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesReliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
• Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
• Walking and/or standing for long periods
• Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
• Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
