ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.
At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we’re looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don’t shy away from humanity’s challenges but are determined to help solve them.
AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward.
AMD is seeking a Server Systems Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence for our growing Data Center GPU (DCGPU), Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence products. In this role, you will work closely with AMD design and engineering teams, Contract Manufacturers (CMs), ODMs, CEMs, and suppliers to ensure products are designed and implemented with manufacturability, technical capability, quality, and capacity in mind.
You will play a key role in new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing process development, and sustaining engineering across our global manufacturing partner network. This role will help advance AMD's assembly processes by applying innovative manufacturing technologies, industry best practices, and solutions for New, Unique, Different, and Difficult (NUDD) assembly methods, materials, components, and technologies.
The successful candidate is a hands-on manufacturing engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You are comfortable working across geographically distributed engineering, supplier, and manufacturing teams and can effectively lead technical discussions and drive issues to resolution.
You bring strong technical judgment, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently while managing changing products, suppliers, priorities, and responsibilities. You are comfortable working under schedule pressure and can serve as a trusted technical expert and liaison between AMD and our manufacturing partners.
