Job summary

SSP Canada operates several restaurants within the Montreal Trudeau International Airport. Our Servers engage guests, craft beverages and deliver food with accuracy and outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of serving experience, basic knowledge of beverages, and English/French communication skills. This role requires working in a secure airport environment and compliance with security regulations.

Qualifications

• One year serving experience required.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Verbal and written communication in English and French language required.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all charges, and understand weights and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Input orders into register and create a check for each guest.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
• Maintain bar setup at all times.
• Stock and prepare garnishes and perishables to ensure quality.
• Adhere to liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Perform cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

SSP Canada operates several restaurants within the Montreal Trudeau International Airport. They have experience crafting beverages and serving them with attention to detail. Our restaurants are fast-paced and our servers can work quickly with accuracy and deliver outstanding customer service without breaking a sweat!

Here are a few things you can expect if you join our team as a Server:

• Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Input orders into register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
• Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar at all times.
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests at all times.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required

This position is located in a secure airport environment and a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) is required. All candidates must be legally authorised to work in Canada and must be able to provide the necessary government-issued documentation required for airport security clearance.
