Job summary

Prima Living, part of the Primacorp group, is hiring a Server for Morrisburg, Ontario, to deliver high-quality dining service to residents and guests. The role includes setting up dining areas, serving meals, and assisting with light kitchen tasks in a supportive, senior-focused environment.

The position requires WHMIS certification, a clear TB test, and a criminal background check, along with strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, housekeeping, or laundry (preferred).

• Clear TB Test and Criminal Record Check.
• Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests during meal times.
• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner.
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after service.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Assist with light food prep or assembly under the direction of the cook.
• Perform routine housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
• Store and handle equipment safely and report any unsafe or faulty equipment.
• Respect and uphold residents’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
• Interact positively with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager or General Manager.

  Pay: $18.16 /hr
• Shifts 3:30 to 7:30, five days a week and alternating weekends

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

What You Bring to the Table
