Blacksmith Agency is a remote, AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Strategist to own search for B2B and growing-brand clients. You will steer the technical roadmap, define content priorities, and shape the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You’ll be the strategic voice at the table, making calls and coordinating with writers and AI. You will lead technical SEO across crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site architecture, while handling keyword strategy, on-page optimization,

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO including audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own search for B2B and growing-brand clients: technical roadmap, content priorities, ranking story.
• Lead technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Increase visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity plus classic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Provide reporting in GA4 and Search Console and set quarterly roadmaps.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
