Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager for veterinary-focused accounts. You will own the technical roadmap, keyword priorities, and content strategy to drive ranking success. You’ll coordinate with writers and AI to produce drafts and ensure client visibility across AI and traditional search.

You will work remotely from Canada with US and other client calls, bringing multi-location SEO expertise and clear communication to the team.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes done by you.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4 and major SEO tools.
• Experience at an agency handling several clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsabilidades

• Own technical SEO for veterinary clients: crawl, indexation, speed, schema.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities.
• Improve visibility in AI-based search and traditional results.
• Manage local and multi-location SEO and link strategy.
• Provide quarterly roadmaps and GA4/Search Console reporting.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Veterinary you own search for a book of veterinary clients (veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for veterinary or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
