Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO and AI Search Manager to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will set the technical roadmap, determine content priorities, and articulate the ranking story when clients inquire about progress.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and AI-assisted drafting with writers. You will also handle local/ multi-location SEO, GA4 and Search Console reporting, and quarterly client roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency in English for US clients on live calls.
• Agency experience across several clients.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Own keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Drive discovery of clients in AI search using Google AI Overviews and related tools.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Deliver GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly client roadmaps.

As SEO and AI Search Manager you own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.


• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.


• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.


• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.


• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.


• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.


• Agency experience across several clients at once.


• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
