Job summary

1Password is seeking a senior Workplace Technology Leader to design, implement, and own the Toronto office's networking, AV, and physical security systems. Based in Toronto, you will set technical standards and drive scalable workplace technology across the office and future sites.

In this onsite role, you will mentor Workplace Technology Specialists, partner with Security on governance and audits, and build automation to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise workplace AV environments.
• Experience administering MDM platforms and endpoint workflows.
• Experience implementing physical security technologies (access control, cameras).
• Experience delivering office builds or major workplace technology projects with vendors/contractors.
• Experience building automation workflows and operational tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and continuously improve the Toronto office network and AV systems.
• Own the physical security technology stack and access control/cameras.
• Partner with Security on governance, audits, and building integrations; drive reliability across platforms.
• Own vendor relationships, hardware standards, monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Design, deploy, and optimize AV and collaboration tech across meeting spaces; onboard Toronto employees (MDM workflows).
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex networking, AV, and endpoint issues; provide hands-on support when required.
• Mentor Workplace Technology Specialists supporting regional offices; document standards and runbooks.
• Build and maintain engineering docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams; support office builds and major technology initiatives.
