A leading insurance staffing firm in Canada is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor. This role involves supervising multiple teams, advising management, and ensuring compliance with claims adjudication standards. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in workers’ compensation and required SIP certification. The position offers an opportunity to manage client relationships and oversee complex claims effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a workers’ compensation adjuster, team lead, team manager, or supervisor.
  • 2+ years experience as a workers’ compensation team lead, team manager, or supervisor.
  • California jurisdictional experience is required.
  • SIP certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical operations colleagues.
  • Advise management on trends and process improvements.
  • Provide direction on claims adjudication.
  • Perform quality reviews on claims for compliance.
  • Act as second level of appeal for claim issues.
  • Review reserve amounts on high-cost claims.
  • Maintain contact with clients regarding claims.
