Job summary

Parkland is seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence and Leave Consultant to support critical Workday initiatives in Canada.   • 10+ years of Workday experience.
  • Active Workday certifications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT).
  • Proven experience leading End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Parallel Testing.
  • Strong reporting experience, including Advanced and Matrix Reports.
  • Ability to design, build, and deliver Workday reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting Canadian payroll processes.
  • Experience working in unionized environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Parallel Testing activities.
  • Design, build, and deliver Workday reports and analytics solutions.
  • Support Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT) functions.
  • Partner effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive issue resolution through deployment activities.
  • Support Canadian payroll processes and workforce requirements.
  • Work independently to ensure successful testing, deployment, and solution delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead and own End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Parallel Testing activities.

Design, build, and deliver Workday reports and analytics solutions.

Support Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT) functions.

Partner effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Drive issue resolution through deployment activities.

Support Canadian payroll processes and workforce requirements.

Work independently to ensure successful testing, deployment, and solution delivery.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Requirements:

10+ years of Workday experience.

Active Workday certifications.

Strong hands-on expertise in Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT).

Proven experience leading E2E, UAT, and Parallel Testing.

Strong reporting experience, including Advanced and Matrix Reports.

Ability to design, build, and deliver Workday reporting and analytics solutions.

Experience supporting Canadian payroll processes.

Experience working in unionized environments.

Strong understanding of payroll compliance, time tracking, Scheduling, and leave management processes.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.

Ability to work independently.
