Senior Frontend Developer Position Hybrid in North York!

About the job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer in the GTA to join a growing web development team. You will be responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable web applications in Angular, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers. This is a full-time permanent position offering a hybrid (4 days in office) structure with the office located in North York.

What are the primary responsibilities of this role?

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and technical skills.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise with modern versions of Angular
• Comfortability building complex applications from scratch and maintaining large-scale codebases in either or both frameworks.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kendo UI (or equivalent) Component Libraries for Angular.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 / Sass.
• Experience with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., NgRx).
• Strong knowledge & experience of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• In-depth knowledge & experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• A strong understanding of modern CI / CD pipelines (Github Actions).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git (Github).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• A solid understanding of UI / UX principles.
