Job summary

Mainstreet Credit Union Canada in Sarnia is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor | Financial Planner to deliver holistic wealth planning and investment advice. The role collaborates with branch networks and lending to build trusted member relationships.

You will lead external community engagement while providing high-quality, personalized service. Applicants should hold CFP/QAFP/PFP, CIRO licensing, and have 5+ years in financial planning/investment sales.

Qualifications

• CIRO INV Division licensed or licensable.
• CFP®, QAFP™, or PFP® designation.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning/investment sales.
• Superior knowledge of the investment industry and products.
• Ability to prepare written financial plans in accordance with FP Canada standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify member needs and develop recommendations with financial planning tools.
• Provide financial planning advice to corporate and individual members to meet service and growth targets.
• Engage in member conversations to uncover other product opportunities and refer to other departments.
• Ensure sales processes respect member objectives over sales targets.
• Support wealth management knowledge and training among the advice team.
• Develop business in the community and drive sales through outreach and events.
