Overview

Position: SENIOR WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER

The successful candidate will play a key role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. Experience in project management, project design and construction contract administration in the following areas of practice is desired: Hydropower development, water management, irrigation development, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines and river engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Staff coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists
  • Preparing planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Performing general supervision duties, and working closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an applicable technical degree
  • Registered with a Canadian Engineering Association
  • Preference will be given to applicants with 8 years or more experience
