Job summary

H2O Innovation Inc. in Wells, BC seeks an experienced Water Filtration Plant Supervisor to lead projects and teams across Central Interior BC. You will plan, execute, and coordinate work to meet client commitments on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has hands-on plant operation and maintenance experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. This on-site role emphasizes safety, productivity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams at the Wells location.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Level 3 in Water & Wastewater Treatment disciplines required.
• Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
• Experience operating and maintaining Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and related equipment.
• Must be flexible and dedicated to the position and public services.
• Computer literate with Word/Excel; CMMS programs.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• On-call for emergencies or short-staffing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems.
• Investigate reported environmental and safety issues.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers.
• Provide information for maintenance plans to meet objectives.
• Train staff in duties, safety procedures and policies.
• Oversee safety of operations.
• Set up machines and equipment.
