Aviso is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Customer Experience (CX) team.
Reporting to the Director or Experience Design, the Senior UX Designer is responsible for leading user‑centered design for one of Aviso’s core products, which will involve discovering problems to solve, defining solutions conceptually, and delivering seamless, engaging and intuitive experiences for customers.
This role will need exceptional skills in abstract thinking and knowledge organization to identify key opportunities and clear design rationale from various information sources long before you even start working on UI. You will work collaboratively with your cross‑functional team and your solid understanding of user research, interaction‑design principles, information design and usability evaluation will enable you to design highly functional and delightful solutions that deliver exceptional user value. Your passion for the discipline means you’re up‑to‑date on best practices in design and design process, and you can share your knowledge via mentorship, feedback and guidance to fellow designers and your product team. Through strong communication and leadership this role will be a key voice in advocating for user‑centered design within the organization.

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $115,000 – 135,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
