Job summary

RSM's Toronto office seeks a Tax Manager to lead complex corporate tax work forCanadian and multinational clients. You will review 1120s, 1065s, 1120-F and SALT, while guiding staff and coordinating with clients to deliver high-quality services.

The role emphasizes technical expertise, people management, and client service, with opportunities to mentor juniors. CPA or equivalent credentials preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA/JD/LLM/EA or equivalent credential preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with S-Corps, C-Corps, or Partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review complex returns (1120s, 1065s, 1120-F) and related forms.
• Review SALT returns and PFICs, 8865s, 8858s, 1042s, 1099s, 5471s, 5472s.
• Manage client needs from PBC requests to final billing.
• Mentor and coach staff; provide performance feedback.
• Support business development and cross-border tax advisory work.
