A leading insurance firm in Toronto is seeking a Senior Underwriter to underwrite Inland Marine products, build client relationships, and contribute to business growth. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the field, preferably with Inland Marine expertise. AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines Property Casualty Specialty Lines Cyber and Multinational Clients. The Senior Underwriter will contribute to the growth of the business by underwriting Inland Marine products under general direction, issuing quotes and policies while ensuring standards and compliance guidelines are met. Responsible for underwriting large accounts and building relationships with clients and brokers.
Providing superior customer service to brokers and clients (internal & external)
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience; Commercial Insurance Company Agency or Brokerage experience preferred; Inland Marine experience preferred.
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
