Job summary

Atolio is a fully remote, well-funded startup focusing on AI-powered enterprise search experiences. As a UI Engineer, you will design and build high-performance frontend features across modern web apps, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

You’ll contribute to frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and testing, while leveraging AI-assisted workflows and modern toolchains to ship delightful user experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or similar frontend framework.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Experience designing scalable frontend architecture.
• Knowledge of component-based development and state management.
• Experience collaborating with product and design teams.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with Vite build tooling.
• Experience writing end-to-end tests (Playwright or Cypress).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

About the Role:

We're looking for a UI Engineer to help design and build the next generation of user experiences at Atolio. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create intuitive, high-performance applications that power AI-driven workflows.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building complex web applications, frontend architecture, and user-facing product experiences. You'll contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to performance optimization and user experience improvements.

You'll join a modern engineering environment that embraces the latest technologies, AI-assisted development workflows, and rapid iteration.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.

• Experience building modern web applications using React, Vue, Angular, or a similar frontend framework.

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architecture.

• Strong understanding of component-based development and state management patterns.

• Experience working closely with product and design teams.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows.

• Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite.

• Experience writing and maintaining end-to-end tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Svelte or interest in learning it quickly.
