Job description

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead and manage municipal transportation infrastructure projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring that all aspects of the design and construction are in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, tenders, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Conduct cost estimates and review, and apply for building permits and approvals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, CAD staff, and junior designers.
• Drive quality and process improvements across project teams.
• Serve as the key liaison with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and approval agencies.
• Prepare and contribute to proposals and business development efforts.
• Take ownership of your work by signing and sealing project documents and drawings.

Experience That You Bring :

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• 10+ years of experience in the design and delivery of municipal transportation infrastructure.
• Proven background in planning, design, and construction of highways, arterial roads, local streets, and active transportation corridors.
• Solid skills in quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and specification writing.
• Successful track record of securing approvals from municipal and environmental agencies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities across fast-paced projects.
