As a Senior Transportation Engineer in the Urban & Community Systems (UCS) division within the Public Spaces Delivery Business Unit, you will collaborate closely with teams across Infrastructure Services and other corporate partners. Your main role will involve supporting Urban Designers and managing projects from procurement to detailed design and construction.
Some of the program/projects UCS delivers include the Downtown Strategy program (e.g. Stephen Avenue, Revitalize 8th Street), public realm projects under the Main Streets & Transit Oriented Development programs (e.g. Ramsay-Inglewood Public Realm Improvements), complete street projects in established communities (e.g. 26 Avenue SW Improvements), pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure upgrades as part of the 5A Program, and the Stoney Trail – Memorial Drive overpass. You will be working in a team environment focused on achieving great city-building outcomes, and working in complex, non-standard urban environments is the norm. Primary duties include:

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day work week earning1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
