Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, test engineering, or instrumentation roles within aerospace or automotive environments.
  • Hands-on experience with systems development and/or hardware testing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle activities from concept to certification.
  • Experience working with ARP4754, ARP4761, and other relevant aerospace standards.
  • Familiarity with eVTOL certification frameworks (TCCA, FAA, EASA) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving and changing requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Leadership mindset with the potential to take on team management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall test development activities, including test coverage, maintenance, and safety.
  • Define and influence test strategy and support the growth of the test organization.
  • Design, build, and operate engineering test rigs and facilities.
  • Perform hardware integration, assembly, and testing.
  • Operate test equipment and lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Develop test systems using first-principles and systems-led engineering approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, program management, and certification teams.
  • Apply relevant aerospace standards and specifications to all test activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering quality, productivity, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and certification requirements.
  • Act as a technical integrator between test, systems, and project teams.
  • Stay current with industry developments and emerging testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Support the future build‑out and leadership of the test engineering team.
