Source Code in Toronto is seeking a Senior Automation Developer to lead automation initiatives and drive QA excellence on a 6+ month contract with potential extension. The role demands hands-on expertise in scripting, test automation, and cloud/DevOps practices.

The candidate will design, implement, and execute automated tests across GUI and non-GUI environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide testing strategy and tool selection. On-site at 87 Sir William Hearst Ave, Toronto.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with automated test tools in a DevOps environment.
Experience with performance testing tools (J-Meter).
Extensive experience with ReadyAPI and Postman.
Extensive experience in test automation development.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.
Design and write test automation scripts.
Utilize test automation frameworks.
Investigate problems in software as a result of testing.
Collaborate with QA analysts and developers to find solutions.
Advise on testing strategy, plans, tools, and resources required for testing.
Plan and organize testing for large GUI and non-GUI systems, including SI tests and UAT.
