Job summary

International Bulk Services, a CN Worldwide subsidiary, seeks a Terminal Manager to lead a 24/7 terminal operation with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will oversee field teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements in service quality for customers and carriers.

The role requires a proven leadership track record in logistics, safety leadership, and strong communication under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related experience, 3 of which were in a leadership/supervisory role.
• 3 years of experience dealing directly with safety-related issues.
• Experience working in an industrial unionized environment is an asset.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations, Planning and Management: direct operation of the facility and service to the shipping public.
• Maintain quality processes, training, safety, documentation and reporting.
• Coach and manage staff performance, promote teamwork and a healthy workplace.
• Assist Regional in business development and strategic issues management; manage terminal expenses and invoicing.
