Job summary

Zurich Canada is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to drive strategic recruitment across technology, transformation, AI, and underwriting, enabling our modernization and growth initiatives.

You will partner with the AVP Talent Acquisition and senior leaders to anticipate capability needs, build market intelligence, and develop proactive sourcing strategies that support Zurich's technology modernization and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in executive, technical, or strategic talent acquisition.
• Demonstrated success recruiting specialized technology, transformation, AI, digital, or technical insurance talent.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, talent mapping, and labour market intelligence.
• Experience recruiting Guidewire, software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, architecture, AI, data, and transformation roles.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
• Experience translating market intelligence into business insights.
• Experience using AI-enabled recruiting technologies.

This role plays a critical part in enabling Zurich Canada's technology modernization, transformation agenda, and commercial growth by ensuring the organization has access to the specialized capabilities needed to execute its strategy.
Reporting to the AVP, Talent Acquisition, you'll combine strategic recruitment, talent intelligence, strategic sourcing, and workforce planning to identify, attract, and advise on highly specialized talent across technology, enterprise transformation, AI, and commercial underwriting disciplines.

Zurich Canada uses artificial intelligence-enabled tools to support certain aspects of the recruitment process, including the initial review and screening of applications. • Strategic Sourcing – Build proactive sourcing strategies, talent communities, and leverage AI-enabled recruiting tools.
• Workforce & Capability Planning – Advise leaders on build, buy, borrow, and develop talent strategies using workforce insights and labour market intelligence.

What you bring to the table:

Required:

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate's skills and experience.
