What You’ll Be Doing

• The Full Cycle: Own the journey from the first hello to the signed offer for engineering, product, and everything in between.
• Strategic Partnership: Work with engineering and product leaders to design hiring strategies that work in today’s market.
• Creative Sourcing: Use GitHub, niche communities, and your network. Leverage AI tools to work smarter, not harder.
• Operational Excellence: Keep our data clean and process disciplined with tight feedback loops.
• The Close: Navigate compensation benchmarks and competing offers. Win without losing your cool.
• Brand Building: Tell the Beacon story and position us as a talent magnet in Toronto, San Francisco, and NYC.

What You Bring

• 7+ Years of Experience: Track record of senior engineering hires.
• Startup DNA: Thrived in high‑growth environments; write your own handbook.
• Technical Fluency: Understands the difference between a good engineer and a great one without heavy manager input.
• Communication: Polished, persuasive, authentic in cold outreach or offer calls.
• Autonomy: Self‑directed, prioritizes requisitions, manages time, delivers results.
• Hands‑on experience with modern ATS platforms; Ashby or Greenhouse preferred.
• BA/BS Degree.
