As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of complex, meaningful projects supported by senior leaders and multidisciplinary technical experts. This is your opportunity to deepen your delivery expertise, strengthen client relationships, and make an impact across sectors that matter.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide leadership for complex, multidisciplinary projects and programs. This role is responsible for overall project performance, client relationships, delivery strategy, risk management, financial performance, team coordination, and quality oversight. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, strong consulting experience, and the ability to guide teams through competing priorities, technical complexity, and evolving client needs.

What you will do: Lead high-value or complex projects; establish delivery plans, governance, roles, and escalation paths; manage project financials, forecasts, risks, changes, and client expectations; mentor project managers and coordinators; support proposal strategy and client development; ensure quality and technical review processes are followed; and provide senior-level reporting to clients and internal leadership.

What you bring: Significant project management experience in a consulting, engineering, environmental, infrastructure, buildings, transportation, resources, or related professional services setting; proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex client requirements; strong commercial and financial acumen; excellent communication and leadership skills; and a relevant professional designation or PMP certification, where applicable.

Your Impact
  • Lead projects through full lifecycle stages — initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close out.
  • Oversee project delivery performance including scope, schedule, cost, forecasting, and change management.
  • Develop and maintain project management plans, schedules, risk registers, and communication frameworks.
  • Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and external partners to achieve delivery milestones.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, resourcing, and health & safety.
  • Serve as primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and providing clear, timely communication.
  • Ensure compliance with quality processes, documentation standards, and project control systems.
  • Support proposal development including RFP review, scoping, scheduling, and estimating.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, environmental science, project management, construction management, planning, architecture, business, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 15+ years of relevant experience managing or coordinating projects in a consulting, engineering, environmental, infrastructure, buildings, transportation, energy, resources, or related professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client communication.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating closely with technical specialists.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery processes, professional services workflows, and multidisciplinary team coordination.
  • Experience preparing proposals, work plans, fee estimates, schedules, reports, or client-facing documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear client-ready language.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with project management, scheduling, financial, CRM, document control, or enterprise systems is considered an asset.
  • PMP, P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Biol., CET, CRSP, CIH, LEED, or other relevant professional designation is considered an asset, depending on discipline and role requirements.
