What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead financial crime intelligence initiatives by sourcing and integrating multi-channel intelligence to identify emerging threats.
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize investigative metrics.
- Apply advanced analytics to uncover criminal risk patterns and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and industry partners to ensure intelligence sharing complies with regulatory frameworks.
- Champion data integrity through mapping, cleansing, and validation processes to support accurate reporting.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies, criminal justice, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong technical ability in data engineering and visualization with experience in creating impactful dashboards.
- Substantial experience in data analysis or database management tools such as SQL, R, or Python.
- Proven ability to translate complex intelligence into clear insights for senior management.
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian financial regulations and experience in a regulated financial environment.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- OSINT certification(s) are an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while providing support to investigative personnel.
