Job summary

DoiT is seeking a Senior Technical Content Writer – Data Platforms to join our global Marketing team. This remote role is ideally based in the United States or Canada, with overlap with US business hours to support collaboration with internal stakeholders and occasional external experts.

You will produce ebooks, long-form guides, blog posts, and webinar materials that help practitioners understand and manage compute costs inside Databricks and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of technical content experience, with a portfolio showing depth in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, or adjacent fields.
• Demonstrated ability to write for Databricks and Snowflake practitioners: data engineers, analytics engineers, platform engineers, or FinOps specialists.
• Hands-on familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake: understand cluster configuration, job compute, and cost levers.
• Ebook and long-form guide experience: structure, pacing, and readability.

Responsibilities

• Create ebooks, long-form guides, blog posts, and webinar materials on Databricks and Snowflake cost management.
• Write with depth and avoid superficial coverage; meet practitioner needs.
• Develop webinar scripts and slide frameworks; collaborate with internal engineers and external practitioners.
• Extend coverage to Snowflake and BigQuery; map concepts across platforms.
