Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering.
- Currently registered or eligible as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or EGBC.
- Knowledge of oil sands tailings management practices and current technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support various tailings or water embankment dam projects.
- Coordinate field investigations and interpret laboratory testing.
- Provide technical support and leadership on projects.

Analytical skills in soil mechanics

Organizational skills
Comfortable driving mid to full-sized pickup trucks
Ability to work independently and with a team
Education
Post-secondary program in Civil or Geological Engineering
Graduate Degree (Masters or higher) preferred
