Job summary

Hikinex in Vancouver is seeking a senior space systems engineer to contribute end-to-end to SAR engineering across the full lifecycle of a SAR space mission. You will help define mission concepts, budgets for the SAR payload, and lead technical solutions for beam mode design and image quality modelling.

The role requires a graduate degree in a relevant field and 10+ years experience in radar/SAR, plus 5+ years in space systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Math or Physics.
• 10+ years with radar, SAR or similar active imaging systems.
• 5+ years in a space systems engineering or similar complex systems environment.
• SAR remote sensing experience: system design, operation, applications/exploitation and/or calibration.
• Strong communicator.
• US citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities
