The IM/IT Sr. Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to an IM/IT Manager, and is responsible for the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of The Need a Family Practice Registry along with other information management and technology solutions, projects and services across NSH, IWK and its many external clients. The IM/IT Sr. SA/BA collaborates with key clinical and business stakeholders throughout the province as the organization, in partnership with the province’s Internal Services Department and the Department of Health and Wellness, moves towards the rationalization of disparate systems and the OPOR strategy.
The IM/IT Sr. SA/BA will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with NSH’s and its client’s strategic mission, vision and goals. The IM/IT Sr. SA/BA performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: evaluation of requests for change, data retrieval and optimization opportunities; troubleshooting and assisting with the resolution of application errors and other system issues; development of materials and the communication of system changes to end users; and, building and maintaining all system configuration items in line with best practice and appropriate stakeholder approvals. Additionally, this position ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by NSH IM/IT business plan, established policies/procedures, and in line with service level agreements between NSH, IWK and the Department of Health and Wellness.

$36.33 - $45.42 Hourly
