A post-secondary institution in British Columbia is seeking a System Administrator to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience and proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Exchange and Azure. Responsibilities include installing and supporting systems, ensuring data security, and mentoring team members. This is a temporary full-time position offering $32.73 – $33.74 per hour with additional benefits.
Term of App't: Temporary, Full Time (Monday - Friday, 7 hours per day)
Start date: Immediately
Reporting to: IT Infrastructure Manager
Classification 17, $32.73 – $33.74 per hour in accordance with the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees in this role receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay, and a Labour Market Adjustment stipend of $5.49/hour.
Please note: Campuses are closed during the Christmas break December 25 – January 1, which is unpaid time off.
