Senior System Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior System Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Design closed-loop control systems for thermal mechanical applications
• Develop simulation models of ECS and related systems
• Create and manage hardware and software requirements specifications
• Conduct hardware software and system integration testing
• Author system verification plans and procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and compliance
• Provide engineering support at internal and external customer sites
• Deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical Systems Design Aerospace Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements management and closed-loop control design
• Minimum 3 years of experience with DOORS or MATLAB

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 35 years of aerospace industry experience
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics heat transfer fluid dynamics and thermal system controls
• Proven experience in ECS hardware / software requirement development and integration
• Familiarity with major aircraft OEM development standards
• Experience with DFSS / Six Sigma and Integrated Product Development Systems
• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong communication listening and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of DO-178C DO-331 ARP4754 and ARP4761
• 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments is an asset
