Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Syspro Business Analyst to join their team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence by leveraging the full capabilities of the Syspro ERP system.

The successful candidate will be the key link between business operations and technological execution, ensuring that all aspects of the business—from logistics and ordering to production and finance—are optimized for maximum efficiency and scalability. If you possess a deep understanding of Syspro, strong SQL skills, and a proven track record as a Business Analyst in a demanding manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Syspro Optimization : Serve as the subject matter expert for the Syspro ERP system, focusing on its use across all business functions (e.g., Inventory, Production / WIP, Financials, Sales / AR, Purchasing / AP).
  • Process Improvement : Analyze, map, and document current business processes related to ordering, logistics, inventory management, and production. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and design optimized solutions within Syspro.
  • Requirements Gathering : Lead discovery sessions with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Sales) to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for system enhancements and new functionality.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Utilize SQL extensively to query the Syspro database, extract, and manipulate data for insightful reporting, KPI tracking, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards.
  • Implementation & Support : Plan and execute the implementation of new Syspro modules or configurations. Provide expert functional support and training to end-users across the organization.
  • Project Management : Manage full-cycle projects related to ERP enhancements and system integrations, ensuring solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Compliance : Ensure Syspro processes and data integrity comply with food manufacturing industry regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Consultant, or similar role.
  • Deep functional and technical expertise with Syspro ERP (version proficiency a strong asset).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a Manufacturing or Food Production environment. Understanding of BOMs, routings, WIP, and quality control processes is critical.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases, data extraction, analysis, and report generation.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and vice-versa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
