This is a permanent full-time role based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig following a hybrid work model setup (at least 2 in office days per week).

Nasdaq Sustainability and Climate Advisory provides ESG and climate consulting solutions to private and public companies all around the world. Our group helps strengthen and transform corporate ESG strategies for a capital markets audience by connecting companies with sustainable investors through proprietary and unique ESG datasets.
We simplify multi-stakeholder demands for ESG data and information through an intuitive and successful materiality process that allows our corporate clients to discover and prioritize ESG disclosure demanded by regulators, investors, ESG rating agencies and ESG frameworks. As ESG evolves on a global basis, our team is at the forefront of innovation and helps instill confidence and access to our corporate client’s ESG strategy and reporting efforts.
Furthermore, we demonstrate primary research and technology to help our corporate clients identify ESG disclosure gaps relative to peers in an effort to improve disclosure quality so that sustainable investors are empowered to make better informed ESG investment decisions.

Participation in quality assurance procedures. Support implementation of quality control measures and supervise research conducted by other analysts. Review the analyst-written ESG reports anhandlege high-quality standards with regular ESG quality data checks.
Systematically collect ESG data from company disclosures (e.g. sustainability reports, annual reports, proxy reports, websites). Analyst should have an acceptable understanding of material ESG topics on a per company basis.
Constantly endeavor to develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors consume this information to make investment decisions.
Support GHG foot printing projects
Support CSRD and other regulatory reporting projects
Develop and maintain corporate and investor ESG data sets
Develop standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clients
Conduct corporate ESG rating review exercises
Update descriptions of procedures and internal processes.
What We Expect
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science or a related field is highly preferred
Two (2) to five (5) years of shown experience in financial services, ESG research/Sustainable finance/Credit Ratings, thinktanks focused on sustainability, or academic research institutes.
An advanced user of Excel & PowerPoint and in general tech-savvy
Fluency in English with highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
A well-organized person, able to balance multiple assignments at once
Strong research skills (this includes planning and delivery, effective communications, multi-tasking, and time management).
High analytical skills with an ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail
A phenomenal teammate who thrives in a collaborative and international work environment
Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and balancing production volumes with high quality.
Operate within local working hours
Being familiar working with data
Proficiency in calculating scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, with demonstrated experience in key topic areas including setting inventory boundaries and accounting for supply chain emissions using multiple approaches (EEIO, LCA, supplier-specific data)
Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate viewpoints
Comfortable working in a team environment across hierarchies, functions & geographies
Knowledge of ESG regulations, ESG rating agencies & ESG investment strategies.
