Summary Description:

The Senior Analyst acts as the procurement liaison to Program Management, ensuring sourcing activities are aligned with monthly revenue objectives and key program milestones. • Partner with Program Management to support forecasting of committed costs.
  • Support leadership in monitoring and reporting monthly revenue performance.
  • Drive procurement cost avoidance initiatives by identifying price-break opportunities and consolidation strategies.
  • Review design release milestones to identify and reduce uncommitted non-labour forecast requirements.
Demand and Supply Coordination
  • Translate loaded demand into actionable procurement work packages for both materials and services.
  • Serve as a core member of the project management team, representing subcontracting interests within program discussions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, including commercial off-the-shelf items and inventory transfer options.
  • Monitor material shortages and supply constraints, and implement mitigation plans to minimize program risk.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to expedite critical and schedule-driven materials.
Subcontract Change Management
  • Assess the material impact of engineering changes and configuration updates.
  • Update planning parameters and material plans to reflect approved changes.
Performance Excellence and Continuous Improvement
  • Identify supply chain risks related to single-source suppliers, long lead-time items, supplier performance, and obsolescence.
  • Support leadership in managing key processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain item master data and monitor quoted lead times against actual fulfillment, providing feedback to Procurement, SQE, and ME-Procurement.
  • Act as the LN key user, serving as the liaison between the Planning and Procurement functions and the LN team, and supporting implementation of system changes.
Required Work Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, material management, or a related supply chain function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including demonstrated experience with VBA, macros, data modelling, and analytical reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems, preferably Infor LN, and practical experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement within supply chain or operational environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Education and license Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • ASCM certification is required or strongly preferred; Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation is preferred.
