Our TorontoJobs.ca client is a Mississauga-based, entrepreneurial Chartered Professional Accounting firm providing full-service accounting, bookkeeping and sophisticated tax planning solutions to a diverse client base.

They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in their Compilation Division, who is a qualified CPA, and experienced in Canadian Public Accounting to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist and independently prepare corporate and personal tax planning. (i.e. dividend vs. salary calculations)
  • Strong understanding in Canadian taxation.
  • Maintaining client files in a paperless methodology.
  • Independently research tax issues and collaborate with the team to determine solutions, including correspondence with CRA.
  • Independently work directly with clients.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and regularly monitor deadline budgets.
  • Identify value-added services while working on engagements.
Skills

  • Superior customer service, with the ability to understand the clients' business and needs.
