This is an excellent opportunity for a recently designated CPA to expand their technical expertise, work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, and gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of private company clients.

About the Opportunity

About the Position Reporting to Managers and Partners, responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audit, review, and compilation engagements for private companies and not-for-profit clients
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with ASPE and IFRS
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing coaching where needed
  • Identifying accounting and assurance issues and recommending practical solutions
  • Collaborating with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality client service
  • Contributing to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

The Requirements

  • CPA designation (completed or near completion)
  • 2+ years of public practice experience in assurance or audit
  • Strong understanding of ASPE, IFRS, and Canadian assurance standards
