Job summary

A leading information management firm in Ontario is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its customer-facing SaaS platforms. This role involves operating and scaling distributed data platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving automation. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in IT, experience with distributed systems like Kafka and Elasticsearch, as well as expertise in public cloud environments. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology supporting large-scale enterprise systems.
• 2+ years operating or supporting distributed data platforms.
• Experience working with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and scale distributed data platforms including Kafka, Elasticsearch, and more.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to monitor data platforms.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting.
