Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks Senior Tax Consultant - SR&ED in Canada. You will advise Canadian businesses on SR&ED credits, prepare claims, and guide CRA reviews. This remote, client-facing role requires CPA designation, strong tax knowledge, and proven experience in public accounting.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to optimize R&D incentives and ensure high-quality documentation. Remote within Canada, full-time, with salary CAD 80k–110k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and good standing required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate taxation and T2 returns.
• Ability to manage client information requests and maintain relationships.
• Proficiency with TaxPrep, iFirm, and advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with clients’ teams to develop SR&ED costing models and identify eligible expenditures.
• Lead claim preparation, financial analysis, and supporting documentation for SR&ED credits.
• Guide clients through CRA reviews and inquiries.
• Prepare SR&ED tax schedules using TaxPrep; liaise with CRA as needed.
• Manage client communications and timely deliverables; mentor juniors.
