Job summary

LTM Limited in Toronto, ON, Canada, is seeking a Senior Specialist - Program & Project Management to lead SAFe and Agile Release Train activities on-site.

You will drive portfolio management across complex programs, facilitate PI planning, and align Product Owners with strategy to deliver value in large-scale software environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile Scrum frameworks at scale.
• Strong portfolio and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve Scaled Agile portfolios of high complexity.
• Facilitate scrum processes on teams with cross-functional impacts.
• Guide teams to follow Agile Scrum practices and promote prioritization.
• Steer Agile Release Trains to deliver software in large environments.
• Deliver value by managing program-level processes and continuous improvement.
• Establish annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments.
• Facilitate PI Planning readiness and the PI planning event.
• Collaborate with Product Owners for backlog refinement across projects.
• Manage risks and dependencies; escalate impediments.
• Support resourcing discussions to address bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with System & Solution Architects, Product Owners and stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
• Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos.
• Drive Inspect and Adapt workshops to improve agility.

Role description

• Responsible for managing and evolving Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity
• Facilitates the scrum process on scrum teams with significant cross functional impacts involving project non project or maintenance work
• Guides the scrum teams and organization to follow generally accepted Agile Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization team readiness and commitment for each Sprint Iteration
• Manage and optimize the flow of value by steering the Agile Release Trains ART to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software consistently in large environments
• The Scrum Master focus is to deliver value by managing program level processes execution and continuous improvement
• Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments PIs
• Facilitate PI Planning readiness
• Facilitate the PI planning event
• Partners with Product Owners to ensure continuous refinement of backlog which may include stories from multiple projects
• Completion of some work may depend on nonagile work teams
• Scrum of Scrums
• Help manage risks and dependencies
• Escalate and track impediments
• Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
• Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects Engineering Work with Product and Solution Management Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
• Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos
• Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve
