Job Description - Senior Specialist, Mill Maintenance

The Senior Specialist, Mill Maintenance, is a pivotal role dedicated to ensuring the sustained reliability, integrity, and optimal performance of mill assets during continuous operation. This role transcends routine maintenance by focusing on proactive strategies that minimize downtime, enhance equipment lifespan, and mitigate production risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced job scoping and strategic planning support
• In-depth failure analysis and proactive reliability program oversight
• Development and implementation of a robust asset reliability and integrity program
• Continuous improvement and knowledge leadership

Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves

• Relevant mechanical trade, technologist, or engineering degree in mechanics
• Certification in the field of education (Red Seal, PEO, etc.)
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification is highly desirable
• 10+ years of related work experience in a mineral processing plant
• Previous experience in the mining industry is preferred
