Everforth Apex is seeking a Temporary Senior Associate to support SOX compliance and internal controls projects within our Risk Consulting practice. You will execute control testing, perform walkthroughs, and manage evidence requests in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SOX compliance experience in Big 4/public accounting or consulting.
• Experience performing SOX business process control testing and walkthroughs.
• Ability to develop and execute test procedures, review evidence, and identify control exceptions.
• Strong communication of testing observations to client stakeholders and engagement leadership.
• Advanced Excel and documentation skills for workpapers and evidence tracking.

Responsibilities

• Execute SOX business process control testing and document results.
• Perform walkthroughs and evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
• Review evidence, identify deficiencies, and document testing workpapers.
• Communicate testing results to client stakeholders and engagement leadership.
• Manage evidence requests and support remediation validation and retesting as needed.
