Job summary

Bulletproof is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to design and implement complex product and service solutions for our client base in North America. You will collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and provide expert technical guidance across Microsoft 365, Azure, and security domains.

You will lead technical engagements, draft specifications, and support proposals while maintaining certifications with key vendors. Occasional travel to customer offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of hardware/software technical sales experience, with managed IT services exposure.
• 7+ years in channel structure for vendors, distributors, and resellers.
• 5+ years with Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software.
• Experience with RFP processes and vendor engagements.
• 5+ years deploying cloud tech: Azure, Office 365, Defender Suite.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps.
• 5+ years designing and deploying infrastructure: servers, storage, virtualization, security, networking.
• Experience with Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery design.

• Understand client business needs and design solutions accordingly.
• Create technical specs and design documents.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables with delivery teams.
• Contribute to proposals and project estimates.

Title: Senior Solutions Architect

Location: Fredericton, NB or Moncton, NB or Halifax, NS (Open to Remote for the right candidate)

Job Summary

A Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing product and service solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients. They work closely with our clients to fully understand their business requirements and provide technical guidance and expertise to develop solutions that meet their needs.

Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)

• Assist the Bulletproof sales team with pre-sales questions and accompany them to meetings as a technical resource to drive sales from a technical viewpoint.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of Bulletproof’s products and services, with specialized focus on Managed IT services.
• Work with clients to gather requirements and understand their business needs.
• Design and develop solutions that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
• Create technical specifications, design documents, and other technical artifacts to support the solution/service design process.
• Work with sales and delivery teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Participate in the development of proposals and project/service estimates.
• Conduct pre-sales Webinars to potential customers and partners.
• Conduct pre-Sales on-site visits to selected customers.
• Design, attend & deliver product and service presentations during seminars, events & tradeshows.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Bulletproof’s products and services.
• Obtain and maintain certifications from various vendors as required for professional improvement as well as vendor partnerships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience

• 7+ years hardware/software technical sales experience; experience with managed IT services is necessary.
• 7+ years’ experience working within the channel structure for vendors, distributors and resellers.
• 5+ years of highly technical experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and supporting Windows software.
• Familiarity with RFP processes.
• 5+ years’ experience using, administering, architecting Cloud technologies – specifically Microsoft Azure, Office 365/Microsoft 365, and the Microsoft Defender Suite.
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure Dev Ops.
• 5+ years’ experience with sizing, architecting and deploying infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, network security, wireless and network switching platforms.
• 5+ years’ Experience with designing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery solutions
• Experience with sizing and architecting solutions involving Microsoft, HPE, Dell, Cisco, and Fortinet equipment would be an asset.

Required Education And Other Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Possessing current Microsoft certifications which include MS-500, Azure Fundamentals, MS-365 Fundamentals.
• Background knowledge in IT security including concepts of security governance.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO-27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53 is required.
